The MIPAA is using the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) master planning process to develop an Airport Master Plan (AMP) to determine the extent, type, and schedule of development needed to accommodate the existing and future growth of civil aviation demand at the Airport. The final AMP will create a flexible 20-year development plan and program that will ensure compliance with the FAA’s rules and regulations for maintaining airport safety. In addition, the final AMP will provide a blueprint for economically and environmentally feasible development at the Airport that is in alignment with the goals and objectives of the MJPA and the greater airport community.
