Planning and Permits



Planning

The Planning Department is responsible for managing development application and environmental reviews for projects within the March Joint Powers Authority. Planning is also responsible for managing and implementing the General Plan and Development Code, and other long-range planning efforts.
      

Building

The March Joint Powers Authority contracts with Willdan Engineering for building plan review and inspection services. Willdan implements and enforces the provisions of the Uniform Building Code in order to protect the public health and welfare of residents and employees within the March Joint Powers Authority.
      

Public Works

The March Joint Powers Authority contracts with TriLake Consultants, Inc. for plan review and inspection services related to development projects and capital improvement plans. The March Joint Powers Authority also contracts with URS Corporations for review of Water Quality Management Plans and NPDES permits.
